clevermonkey blog » Don’t trust everything you’re fed.

Here’s a clip of Ron Paul being disemboweled by the mainstream media. Keep in mind that Wolf Blitzer is a former lobbyist for AIPAC. And this is a little behind the scenes at FOX news. And now a recent update of the FOX news poll of the debate held tonight. Clearly the MSM want to make believe Ron Paul does not exist and will do anything in their power to make sure you think the same. On a side note, Frank do you really think that Nosferatau is the best person to vote for and if so why? I know only my friends read this blog but I beg you to see that they are afraid of Ron Paul, his policy will shut down their war machine and hopefully recreate freedom for the American people. Also consider this I thought Bill Maher was cool but I think he might be one of them.

    Huh-huh fags

  2. John says:

Both you guys have got to be fucking kidding me. Pete with your
Ron Paul hard-on and Frank with your similar Ghouliani erection.
    They’re republicans…remember?!
    Are you both insane? Really!

I had a great time in California by the way.
    Talk soon nut cases,
Fuck you Dave. When did you start walking upright?
    Just kidding,
    Love JC

  3. Pete says:

Only when he tries to play darts. And John at this point the dems and reps have the same agenda.

  4. John says:

I still don’t understand how dems= reps. Please explain.
And let’s say that’s true, why would you back republicans
more than democrats? Who of the dems do you like.
If they’re both equal you must have a choice for them as well.
If both parties have the same agenda why would you choose
either? I’m perplexed. Do you not want to throw your vote away
on an independent or third party? I wouldn’t either.
Also, if I am reading the meaning behind what you guys are
stating correctly it seems to state “All politicians are the same”.
If that is what you believe then that is so lame.
Are you the same guys I grew up with during 8 years of
Reagan and 4 more of Bush Sr. and now our current nightmare?
Should I have destroyed your “pods” when those body-snatching
    aliens landed?

  5. John says:

    I’ll take the powerchair.

  6. Pete says:

John, my friend, I’m sure you know that I am not a flag waving republican by any means. I was thrilled when the democrats gained control of congress but they still haven’t done anything to get W out of office. God knows they(his administration) have committed multiple crimes against humanity, launched a war against 2 nations that pose no threat to the US, bankrupted the country, and generally have left our balls hangin out at home. Do some research on how federal funding was cut on water tankers, for California and most of their national guard troops and equipment are in Iraq. We don’t even have to mention Katrina. I don’t really like any of the top tier candidates for the simple reason that I want someone who puts the US first, second and third. It’s about the neocons who want us to fight their wars with our money and blood. Of course I’m talking about Israel, I’ve already written a couple of posts about that 400 lb. gorilla. Our country is in serious trouble financially and we really aren’t making friends around the world either. This is why the wars have to stop, this is what motivates my way of thinking the most. Our dollar is now worth less than a Canadian dollar, under Bush the debt ceiling has been raised 5 times, eventually this money has to be paid back. Paid to China mostly, China who along with Russia are allies with Iran. The democrats and the republicans have said that ” no option is off the table ” referring to a nuclear strike on Iranian nuclear sites. There are Russian scientists working in these sites being that it’s Russian equipment that they’re using. This goes back to Israel who has stated that they have no problem bombing Iran, if they do you know who’s gonna back them up. If we attack Iran what will China and Russia do? If Iran shuts down the Persian gulf(they are strategically located to be able to do so) what happens to oil prices then? Iran also has missiles we can’t stop (sunburn i think) that can wipe out our ships with relative ease. I state these points because we can’t afford another war. We don’t have the manpower, maybe a draft will have to be instituted, or the cash. At a time when foreclosures and bankruptcies are at an all time high why can’t they focus on improving our country instead of invading others? It’s because of this John that the dems are no better than the reps. This is why I support Ron Paul. Obviously he’s not like any other republican right now, they are constantly trying to make him look bad any way possible but they really can’t. He has sound financial ideas and what I think is a great approach to foreign policy. I want the best person for the job to be president for a change if the democrats can produce someone that will stop the war and stop wasting all our money on pointless federal programs I will support them 200%. Until that time Ron Paul is my choice. Sidenote the Gop constantly refer to him as libertarian and he did run for president as a libertarian.

  7. John says:

I’ll restate from an earlier post. 70% of us want to end the republican party
occupation of Iraq. We have a razor thin majority that is not veto-proof.
That means that only about 17 republican senators can vote with the majority
of public opinion (like a democracy) and end this disgusting waste.
You are preaching to the choir Pete.
I’m aware of the Russia China connection to Iraq.
Why are the republicans in such lock-step with the administration?
Why don’t they break away? If they did would you respect them and/or
the democrats once again? I’m as pissed at the dems also. But also-
Federal programs are part of what made are country great.
Thomas Jefferson started our public school system so that there would
be an informed public to help the experiment of democracy exist.
Ron Paul would privatize it to corporations. That’s just one example.
Didn’t we used to be into punk rock and against Ronald Reagan?
His trickle down bullshit economics proved that de-regulation and
privatization didn’t work and made millionaires into billionaires.
Meanwhile the poor got poorer. And the middle class shrank.
What worked for our country just fine was The New Deal from FDR’s
administration. During the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s we had a strong middle
class. Libertarians are terrible too. They don’t care if a highway is
falling apart. They will probably get some private company to bid on
fixing it. Rebubs really score big on this no-bid thing. And you think
the AIPAC is out of control?
If I had to choose among the reps I would choose RP any day rather
than the Ghoul. I’d almost want another 4 years of the bush rather than
that war-mongering, authoritarian, 911-tourettes spouting nut case.
Sorry Frank but I hate him. Why do I suddenly miss Richard Nixon?
Pete, look up Dennis Kusinich and say something positive about him.
He (just like RP) doesn’t have a chance either. Weird isn’t it? Not really.
    Our media is beyond corporatized.
Frank, I’ve changed my mind. I’m interested in the scooter.

“Bout the same time you did Britt” {cut to scene of Feeney walking into
    Burger King utility closet}

  8. Dave says:

What I got from “dems = reps” is that they sold out too. John, in your opinion, who is the candidate that has the strongest domestic focus (particularly economically speaking)? That’s someone who I’d consider supporting.

Regarding the video; have you ever seen someone bashed by FOX news who you didn’t identify with? I don’t watch it, but it’s all that’s on over a lot of the country.

    I want a Segway.
    http://www.segway.com/

But this guy may have done it better. Let’s wait and see.

Drat, I have to work. Later guys.

  9. John says:

Frank, Dave, Pete I’ll tell you after you answer some of my questions from 2 posts ago. Except for the “pods” thing. That was a joke. Except Frank’s pod. That I meant.
They were valid questions. Please respond.
And Frank, It is now safe and o.k to stereotype politicians that are Republican with very few exception. I LIKE IT. Their dirty tricks are almost impossible to counter unless one plays dirtier than them. I wouldn’t want to sell my soul to play meaner politics than them. The last good republicans died out years ago. Dwight Eisenhower, Barry Goldwater, etc. The conservative movement is gone and they have nothing to offer except fear and loathing. It’s a dead language like Latin.

    Check this out: http://commonsense.ourfuture.org/art_hissy_fit

Btw, Lincoln was a LIBERAL republican. They actually existed back then.
The north was republican in the mid 1800’s.
The south were Democrats up until Nixon and Lee Atwater in 1968 developed the “Southern Strategy” to turn white voters against blacks and vice versa.
It was then the south flipped and became republican. Nice dirty trick by
republicans that worked effectively. They still do it now but worse.
It is now completely safe to stereotype republican politics.
    Enjoy!

  10. Dave says:

I’d like to answer your questions: let’s see how it goes. I’ve culled the questions out of your posts and will paste them here for convenience.

Why are the republicans in such lock-step with the administration?

By ‘The administration’ do you mean the executive branch? That’s what I take as your meaning. I really don’t know, and I think that’s where the frustration comes from. If a Representative or a Senator is elected to be a voice of the people, are we to believe that what we hear the Representatives or Senators saying is in sync with those they represent? That’s how it should work, but that’s not how it is working today. The Republican congressman seem to be taken over by a hive mind and they dare not break ranks and start speaking sense.

    Why don’t they break away?

Because, like with any other cult, the other ones will come after you. Or maybe they’re like the Borg. That may be it, or perhaps they believe in their Republican vision which I can’t seem to grasp, or maybe they just stand to profit from the affairs currently in play. Money and Power are strong motivators.

Didn’t we used to be into punk rock and against Ronald Reagan?

I do remember the Dead Kennedys’ singing something about it. Wait, “Dead Kennedys”… were we against Democrats too? Actually, I wasn’t politically aware back then. What I think you’re asking underneath it all is ‘why so much talk in support of Ron Paul who is a Republican, when we’re the natural enemy of the Republican’? When we think “Republican”, we have a certain picture in mind compiled out of recent history. The actions and ideals of the modern Republican are far removed from the small-government, strong-states, low-taxes origins of the party. It’s not the founding principles of the party that are disagreeable, but what the party has become. Ron Paul does not exemplify the current model of Republican, but rather the ideals of the party as it was founded. I find several of his views in conflict with my own, but embrace his ideas on Constitutionalism and restoring the balance of power. In my mind, that takes precedence.

And you think the AIPAC is out of control?

    Yeah, pretty much.

Why do I suddenly miss Richard Nixon?

You yearn to be a boy again when you didn’t have any moral responsibility in these affairs. Or maybe you liked giving the peace sign and wagging your jowls, cause that’s all we really knew about him from watching Laugh-in.

    Weird isn’t it?

    Yes.

And let’s say that’s true (reps=dems), why would you back republicans more than democrats?

I wouldn’t. When the Republicans tore at Clinton throughout his presidency over matters that were perhaps morally concerning but nevertheless not pertinent to his duties as president, I felt that it had the effect of taking his focus off of the very important job he’d been appointed to do. I resolved on the day of Clinton’s impeachment to never vote for a Republican.

Who of the dems do you like?

None of them, really. Some online questionnaire said that my candidate of choice would be Kusinich, but he has no hope.

If both parties have the same agenda why would you choose either?

Because I’d like to choose a candidate who will be a person, not a party.

Do you not want to throw your vote away on an independent or third party?

If we had a system that recognized the popular vote, I might. As the system works today, I don’t think I would. Or to the contrary, if I felt the Republican and Democratic favorites were two sides of the same ugly coin, I’d go with the independent if they were credible.

Oh, and Lincoln was the first Republican. He started it in 1854. Jefferson was the founder of the Democratic-Republican Party, which became the Democratic party.

  11. Pete says:

John, out of the dems I like DK as well it’s just that the dems don’t seem to be getting much air time or having debates. I honestly haven’t seen alot to judge them on. I think I answered the question about dems = reps in the above post and most of my other posts, quite simply that if they keep taking marching orders from AIPAC they are not looking out for OUR countries best interest. As Frank stated earlier it should not matter the party they’re in but the candidate themselves. I like DK, he’s done good work on some of his bills and I think he actually tried for impeachment on fucktard. Unfortunately I don’t think he can compete with the Jillions of dollars that Clinton has. I’ll say that I would vote republican only if RP had the nomination otherwise I would definetly vote democratic.

  12. John says:

Yes to question 1: I mean the executive branch. Thanks for understanding. And I agree with your conclusion.
    Question 2: Agree totally. Thanks.
Question 3: I wasn’t as politically aware back then either. I also understand and admire the low tax and strong states vision of the old republican party.
I wish those guys were still around. I also liked the less intrusion into peoples
private lives espoused by Goldwater and responsible fiscal conservatives of their day. I love our Constitution and the power balance written into it.
Bush’s ’signing statements’ and ‘executive privilege’ shred it.
    The Nixon statement for fun:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ItU6tkdF2A

The Clinton subject: I still detest that Slick Willie for wasting billions of sperm on that blue dress of Monica’s. Bush by comparison has only wasted
a mere one million Iraqis and only 4000 US Service Members and not to mention all the wounded. Damn sperm. Couldn’t she swallow?

On the last three questions I’ll summarize. I hate weak kneed democrats for putting up with this horrible state of affairs but I burn with a passionate fire about the republican obstructionists that wish for a one party fascist
state. I hate them and always will ’til the day I die. My Dad was in WW2
and fought against Germany. The least I can do as an American is to resist
this bull-shite and resist the right wing always now and forever. They never have an answer to any problem. They always fail. Always.
I believe you speak from the heart Montana I mean Britt.
    Peace
    JC

  13. Pete says:

I’m sure she will do anything she can to make sure Israels balls stay nice and wet. ( please see the south park trilogy about the ball reference )
