My pieces are not staying where I put them. Is this because I am making not moving my peices to the correct places to checkmate in the least number of steps?

Yeah, it will only allow the correct move. There were a couple I just couldn’t figure out, so I reloaded the board in those cases.
Once I got one, though, it was kind of cool to walk it through to ‘mate.

You can choose from 16 distinct endings by choosing from the drop down list and clicking the button labled “Ver problema anterior” ( Roughly “Seeing previous problem”).
