How long is? I’m 12 minutes into it and the progress bar has only moved about 1/5 of the total.
    Is this an hour long?
    And why? Why Damie? Why?

  2. Pete says:

It’s a little over an hour, but you really should watch it.

  3. Dave says:

An Irish film crew are on location doing a Chavez documentary when the Anti-Chavez faction stages a clash of demonstrators. Inducing chaos by sniper fire, they lay blame on the Chavistas, broadcasting Anti-Chavez propaganda over all of the privately-owned media channels. They televise a demand for a military response and Chavez’ resignation. Moving on the Presidential Palace, they take Chavez prisoner and quickly announce the disbanding of the current democratically elected government and appoint a hand-picked interim government sympathetic to the interests of the Venezuelan Elite. They also take control of the state television station, Channel 8, leaving the Pro-Chavez deposed government no outlet to communicate (and no way to announce that current events are a coup and not a resignation). In an unprecedented show of support for Chavez, a gazillion supporters march upon the presidential palace and the lower ranks of the palace guard coordinate a reversal of the coup and restore Chavez to power.

I’m glad you watched the film Dave, I hope you enjoyed it.

  5. Dave says:

    Yes!

  6. John says:

I finally watched it Pete. It’s amazing that so many of his supporters took to the streets and demanded his re-in-statement. I guess protest works sometimes. Good documentary.

  7. Pete says:

Too bad things don’t work like that in the US. I mean the people coming together, because God knows we have corruption and media manipulation.

  8. Mr. Nibbles says:

    Dave,
    Thanks for the Cliff’s Notes.
