Upset much that Obama is ahead in the polls? At what point did you become older than your “Old Man”?
You’re still upset with Jimmy Carter? Ha Ha! Is this ‘80 or ‘08?
You might want to check into McCain’s Health Care Benefit Tax of $5,000.00 for families or spouses.
Who is your health care provider again? Oh, that’s right, Your Wife.
Oh well, sorry you were upset about Dave and I snickering about Palin.
Boo-Hoo, but Ha Ha!

Hold up there John - Can It Core An Apple has a very valid point!
As happens every four years, we’ve been given a false choice. There’s not really any fundamental difference between these two candidates. What do you want to choose - Welfare or Warfare? Neither choice makes me warm and fuzzy.
If the Senate goes to a Democratic Majority, the Democratic party *will* push through legislation they’ve been sitting on for years, probably since Carter
, and I expect it will only make our economic situation worse.
This will happen no matter what: keep your eye on it - when the Fed lowers interest rates from the 1% it’s at now, to zero, that still won’t be enough to effect an economic turnaround. But that’s not all they can do- at that point they will intentionally print more money to devalue currency, causing inflation.
I fear the Democratic Party’s ambition to Federally support everyone in society is well-meaning, but will lead to financial ruin. I know you’re fond of FDR, and he was truly a great and admirable man, but no president ever moved the country further toward socialism in pursuit of a private agenda and in conflict with the constitution. There’s no constitutionally mandated guarantee of health care for everyone or against out and out poverty. Democrats and Republicans alike would have you believe otherwise.
