I published my first instructable a couple of days ago; check it out. I’m going to make a video and enter their Launch It competition. Wish me luck.
A fellow named Kovit taught me how to make these when I was a kid and we sure did get a lot of use out of them. Nobody was safe*
It starts off as the common paper jet airplane that we all know and love, but when you get to the step where you’d usually make wings, fold the edges to the center one more time. Then fold it in half and make an angled cut, about three inches back from the tip and about halfway through. Fold the edges below the cut to the center line.
Now when you fold it in half there’s a hook to loop a rubber band onto. Stretch it back and let it go.
Best to do it outdoors, I think.
- Never shoot the rocket at the people
- You may make a multi-colorful rocket with pencil or crayon
- Useful hook may be hang on breast pocket or girdle

*I’m not in any way liable for what you choose to do with these.
