Well, I believe that *you* believe what you’re saying, and it’s an interesting defense. I also believe that you meant no harm or insult.
If we exaggerated it mildly, it kind of ties in to the ruckus about waterboarding being torture. Point being, the victim isn’t really being drowned, they just think they are.
I believe that animals think and feel emotions. To me, it’s obvious that the animal is experiencing trauma. Inducing panic in an animal for the sake of ‘convenience’ is abusive. Calling it funny is, in my opinion, just sick.

I’ve got to say that I did see this video before Dave took it down and I was scratching my head as to why you would have put that up Pete. I know that you had Tish and you don’t hate cats and that Fat Boy Slim video has cute kittens in it. But the cat in the video was obviously traumatized by it. It had no escape which is the most cruelest aspect of it. There are more humane ways of washing a cat if the need ever arose. Other than being sprayed by a skunk or the cat rolling around in a puddle of antifreeze I can’t think of too many more reasons you have to wash a cat. They lick themselves clean you know.
You were probably scratched when you did it because you did not have help from another person at the time. This is important with many aspects of pet ownership. Administering medicines, etc…
Eileen and I wore gloves and spoke reassuringly as we gave a flea bath to our cats one time. I think they actually enjoyed it somewhat. Then we towel dried them and sent them on their merry way.
BTW I was living with you guys in Cedar Grove when Tish went missing for a day and came back after a bad fight with a raccoon. You remember. She was so traumatized that she $hit herself and had to have half her
tail amputated. I hope that isn’t the time you were scratched but considering what she had been through
you probably deserved it. You’re lucky Eileen didn’t see that video.

Ya know, I’ve been a bottom feeder for awhile so a recession or depression will affect me, but not to the extent that it will affect people with 1,2, or 3 mortgages. In a sick sort of way I almost look forward to seeing a total collapse of our monetary system. I think it would be kind of fun to see all those living beyond their means fuhks have to face a reality they never dreamed of. And as far as Rudy goes he seems to be sinking fast against Huckaihateaniggaandafagabe, thats all we need is a fuhkin southern baptist preacher in the white house.
